Position: Mobile and Web Application Developer: Ionic, Angular, JavaScript, BDD

Location: Remote

Status: Part-time/Full-time

Estimated Duration: 3-6 Months

Starts: January 15 or sooner

Rate: DOE Up to $75/hour


Filmstacker is looking for a passionateMobile and Web Application Developerto assist our small, dynamic, fast-moving startup team in bringing a collaborative video distribution platform to market.

Focus will be front-end development, bringing inspiring UI/UX prototypes to reality.

Initial contract is for 20-40 hours/week for 3-6 months. A high performing candidate may have the opportunity to expand responsibilities in the team and grow with us. Company stock option for the right fit.

What you'll do

Contribute to an exciting progressive web application and mobile native application using Ionic Framework and Angular. Work as part of a small team of passionate developers. Articulate requirements into easily understandable and efficient solutions (code).

Who you are

Self-starter that can work independently but knows when to pause and collaborate.

Demonstrable hands-on Angular and Ionic development experience.

Minimum 3 years of cumulative web development experience with a focus on Modern JavaScript, and Hybrid Mobile Application experience using Ionic/Cordova.

Experience troubleshooting, diagnosing, and supporting mobile web/app development as part of a team.

Understanding of DevOps build and deployment activities on multiple platforms.

Desired experience includes architecture exposure and technical understanding of: Server-side/Middleware (REST API services, GraphQL, cloud microservices) and Native Applications and Deployment (iOS, Android).

Must have contributed significantly to at least two mobile web applications and be able to describe those contributions. The selected candidate will be required to sign an NDA.
