Filmstacker is looking for a passionate Mobile and Web Application Developer to assist our small, dynamic, fast-moving startup team in bringing a collaborative video distribution platform to market.
Focus will be front-end development, bringing inspiring UI/UX prototypes to reality.
The web app is near completion and is on track for client use in coming months.
Initial contract is for a minimum of 20 hours/week for approximately 6 months. A high performing candidate may have the opportunity to expand responsibilities in the team and grow with us.
All of the work will be completed remotely, however candidate must be available for occasional online meetings. Must provide your own computer.
Contribute to an exciting progressive web application and mobile native application using Ionic Framework and Angular.
Articulate requirements into easily understandable and efficient solutions (code).
Work remotely as part of a small team of passionate developers and designers. You’ll report to a senior developer and have regular code check-ins to ensure goals are met.
Self-starter that can work independently but knows when to pause and collaborate.
Demonstrable hands-on Angular and Ionic development experience.
Experience troubleshooting, diagnosing, and supporting mobile web/app development as part of a team.
Understanding of DevOps build and deployment activities on multiple platforms.
Desired experience includes architecture exposure and technical understanding of: Server-side/Middleware (REST API services, GraphQL, cloud microservices), and Native Applications and Deployment (iOS, Android).
Experience with Behavior Driven Development (BDD) is desirable.
Must have contributed significantly to at least two mobile web applications and be able to describe those contributions. The selected candidate will be required to sign an NDA.
